About The Position

Taylor Northeast is the mid-Atlantic and New England’s premier dealer of forklifts, container handlers, railcar movers, industrial floor cleaning machines, and much more. Headquartered near Reading, Pennsylvania with multiple branch facilities from Baltimore to New Hampshire, Taylor Northeast sells, rents, services, and rebuilds a range of custom and heavy-duty material handling equipment. The company is seeking a Shipper & Receiver for its warehouse in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will work primarily in the warehouse, with additional responsibilities potentially including local delivery, requiring a clean driving record.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience
Valid Driver's License - Clean driving record
High school diploma or GED
Good communication skills with customers, clients, and employees
Ability to follow outlined procedures and processes
Good problem-solving skills
Experience with using FedEx and UPS, scales
Experience in LTL and inventory control
Operate sit down and stand up forklifts
Solid Computer skills
Ability to count, verify, and key on-hand quantities into the system

Responsibilities

Pull product from storage and prepare for shipment
Count and verify part quantities
Stack cartons on skids, stretch wrap skids, and identify contents
May be required to prepare shipping documents and contact carriers for pick up of shipments
Load / unload trucks
Deliver parts to customer sites in a company-provided vehicle
Enter received items into the system and store in proper location
Participate in month-end and year-end physical inventory
Keep warehouse organized, clean and in good condition
Follow safety rules such as proper lifting techniques, and use equipment safely
Operate fork lift safely
Work to accomplish company inventory accuracy goals
Work with minimal supervision
