About The Position

System Logistics Corporation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for receiving, distributing, storing, and shipping materials while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely support of the manufacturing schedule. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Strong time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in computer systems such as SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or material handling role preferred

Responsibilities

Receive, distribute, and store materials in designated locations
Prepare, maintain, and update accurate records of materials received and shipped, including transaction dates and locations
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy
Review and verify shipping documentation and special instructions
Coordinate and expedite shipments that impact manufacturing schedules
Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods manually and/or using hand trucks or skids
Resolve shipping or delivery issues with vendors and contractors as needed
Validate, approve, and forward invoices to the accounting department
Collect and properly dispose of scrap materials (bracing, cardboard, strapping, etc.)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
