Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator on 1st shift. Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm with overtime as needed. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for shipping, receiving, and providing product material handling support to internal and external customers in an efficient, cost effective, safe, and professional manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three years experience using forklifts and power jacks.
  • One to three years experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Knowledge of and ability to complete UPS and FedEx parcel shipping.
  • Knowledge of and ability to complete LTL shipping and create BOL's.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use shipping technology such as scan guns, barcode scanners, and inventory systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Monarch highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Loading, unloading, pulling stock, maintaining proper storage of products, matching purchase orders, tagging products, moving products to appropriate storage areas.
  • Monitor production schedule in conjunction with shipping schedule, revising shipping schedule as necessary.
  • Document shipping and receiving information into ERP system, generate freight quotes (including scan guns) for Customer Service/Sales, and dispatch carrier services when necessary.
  • Operate forklift and pallet jack and maintain updated certifications.
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional partners to ensure quality and efficiency.
