We are looking for a dynamic Shipping and Receiving Clerk to become a vital part of our vibrant Logistics, working in our warehouse in Austin, TX. Join the energy and come be part of the momentum! As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily receipt of incoming shipments and the preparation and dispatch of outbound packages. This role ensures that all materials are processed accurately, documented properly, and handled in compliance with established company standards, safety policies, and operational procedures. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of related work experience.
  • Strong commitment to discipline, process, and operational control.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business applications.
  • Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping methods and procedures.
  • Ensure orders are expedited for shipping in a timely manner according to their release date, estimated delivery date, or ship-by date.
  • Responsible for receiving, warehousing, packaging, and shipping products in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.
  • Prepare international export documentation (international shipping experience preferred).
  • Ability to professionally work with outside vendors to obtain shipping quotes when requested.
  • Receive and unload incoming materials and compare packing slip information with the purchase order to verify receipt of products.
  • Ability to confidently work in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
  • Maintain work area organization and manage shipping and receiving supply inventory.
  • Organize the daily workload to optimize productivity and ensure alignment with department goals.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong motivation to maintain the highest level of quality.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement initiatives, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
