About The Position

Nosco is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk on our first shift at our Lockport, NY facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will participate in activities relating to receiving, storing, shipping, and delivery of finished products to our customers coupled with material and supplies to the material handling/production group.

Requirements

• Must have at least one year of forklift truck operating experience.
• Ability to coordinate and organize production areas in a high production environment.
• Able to perform under minimal supervision.
• Open to work in other areas during slow times.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Physical requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor production schedule and stage all jobs accordingly.
• Keep all areas clean and organized.
• Complete all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Perform all activities related to inbound/outbound shipments.
• Perform various warehousing activities.
• Communicate with internal and external customers.
