About The Position
Responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling. Works collaboratively to ensure order fulfillment accuracy, inventory control, and maintain a high level of safety and quality.
Requirements

- Be able to use the following: email, excel, word and ERP systems
- Be able to periodically lift up to 60lbs.
- One year Shipping/Receiving experience with Inventory control, material handling and cycle counting experience
- Competent computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems
- High school diploma/GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP Business 1
- Understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) requirements and processing
- 2 plus years of shipping/ receiving experience
Responsibilities
- Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and procedures
- Understands and follows all safety regulations, laws and policies
- Being a coachable team player with high personal motivation for success
- Work as a team to maintain a quality level of order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and discrepancies
- Responsible for shipping, receiving and inventory control
- Support material handling, maintaining supplies and finished goods levels in the fabrication department
- Ensure accuracy of paperwork and shipments
- Coordinate truckload and LTL pickups
- Calculate LTL freight rates and determine best mode of transportation based on pricing and delivery times
- Communicate with and provide support to Operations and Commercial groups
- Understand and practice basic First in First Out (FIFO) procedures and perform cycle counts as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Maintain packaging and other supplies
- May be expected to work outdoors in all-weather situation and assist other departments based on needs
- Expected to work overtime when needed or required and willing to work the occasional weekend
- Complete other assigned tasks by the Department Manager
