Our success is driven by our world-class global teams and culture. Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Union, NJ team. You will support daily distribution operations through the accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments. Ensuring that orders are packed, verified, and shipped accurately according to customer distribution lists. You will work closely with warehouse personnel, customer service, and production teams, as well as 3PL providers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Basic computer skills, experience with warehouse management or ERP systems preferred (IBM AS400 or other).
  • Experience with UPS/Fed ex domestic and international shipping.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving experience preferred.
  • Experience with UPS/Fed ex domestic and international shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Process outbound and receive inbound shipments in ordinance with company procedures and customer requirements.
  • Pack, verify, and stage customer orders for shipment.
  • Coordinate shipments daily with third-party logistics providers and transportation carriers.
  • Work closely with customer service and production teams to ensure product availability allowing for timely shipment of customer orders.
  • Verify shipment accuracy and report discrepancies, shortages, and damages.
  • Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment as required.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
