About The Position

The purpose of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position is to ensure all the data entry, scheduling updates, and shipping documents are processed accurately within the Shipping & Receiving areas to support daily warehouse or distribution center operations.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • One year of experience in either Office or Warehouse setting

  • Prior RF Unit Experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all data entry, scheduling updates and shipping documents are processed accurately to support daily warehouse operations.
  • First line of communication between customer and company
  • Prioritize and process both Inbound and Outbound paperwork and BOLs (Bill of Lading)
  • Assist in maintaining consistent flow of freight for timely outbound/inbound processing
  • Maintain audit integrity in accordance with physical contents for all freight received
  • Assist in the movement of freight when needed and as directed for outbound/inbound processing
  • Aid Inventory Control to complete monthly cycle counts and update system accordingly
