About The Position
This is a temp-to-full-time position for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk/Packer. The primary responsibilities include packing sheet metal parts for shipment to outside processing and customers according to shipping instructions, as well as packing sheet metal parts for stock.
Requirements
- Licensed sit down forklift experience
- Shipping or warehouse experience
- Drug/alcohol and tobacco free workplace
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Review sales order pick slips for instructions
- Find job card and parts that match pick slip
- Pull stock from inventory for shipments
- Box/palletize metal parts for shipment per instructions
- Record accurate counts and weights for shipments
- Turn in completed pick slips for packing slip processing
- Pack parts for stock
- Load and unload freight carriers, vendors and customers
- Assist with warehouse inventory activities
- Assist with packing parts to be sent out for finish
