About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Associate supports manufacturing operations by ensuring raw materials, components, and finished goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently. The role manages inbound and outbound logistics, maintains accurate inventory records, and supports production through timely material handling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles in a manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite or inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document deliveries of raw materials, components, and other manufacturing supplies.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, and note shortages, overages, or damage.
• Prepare and pack finished products for shipment in accordance with customer requirements and internal quality standards.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation using ERP and shipping software.
• Schedule pickups and coordinate with freight carriers and logistics providers.
• Monitor inventory levels of shipping materials, including boxes, labels, and stretch wrap, and reorder as needed.
• Maintain accurate system records of receipts, shipments, and inventory transactions.
• Support periodic cycle counts and full physical inventories.
• Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to resolve shipping and inventory issues.
