About The Position

Nesco Resource is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate in Newberry, South Carolina, to support daily warehouse and material-handling operations. The role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and handling materials safely and efficiently.

The position operates in an industrial warehouse or manufacturing environment. It involves standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials throughout the workday, and requires following safety procedures and using appropriate protective equipment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with potential overtime each day, including weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Basic computer and recordkeeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience.
• Forklift experience; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Prepare, package, label, and stage materials for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
• Move and organize materials within designated storage areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and recordkeeping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and operating guidelines.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
