About The Position

American Road Group is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate at Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson in Tannersville, PA! This role handles all duties related to merchandise (Apparel & Licensing and Parts & Accessories) receipt and shipment. The associate will ship and receive departmental and/or dealership inventory, assist in maintaining inventory accuracy, and manage inventory-related records. Related duties as necessary will also be performed.

Requirements

  • Product shipping and/or receiving experience will be preferred.
  • Some knowledge of basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • A strong aptitude towards attention to detail.
  • Must be proficient on a computer.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and a neat, well organized work area.
  • Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize accuracy of inventory.
  • Make sure orders are filled correctly.
  • Verify content of shipment against original order and invoice, correct any cost.
  • Ensure same day processing of all orders.
  • Process all merchandise/inventory for departments.
  • Support Parts and Apparel departments with labeling products as needed, web orders as needed to help support both areas to get completed.
  • Support Apparel in Cycle Counting.
  • Handle Parts and Apparel Warranty for HD and LP products.
  • Maintain Accurate, Current Inventory Records.
  • Print pack list and exceptions report, verify product against list to assure accuracy of incoming product.
  • Record shipment data such as weight, charges and damages.
  • Use Receive-Link to check in by pack list or container.
  • Prepare and maintain invoices and pack slips.
  • Manage Shipping and Receiving.
  • Decide shipping methods, using knowledge of shipping routes and rates.
  • Assist with packing, sealing, label and affix postage to packages during peak season or as needed.
  • Perform stock clerk duties such as stocking and marking shipping goods.
  • Print labels.
  • Maintain and secure a dedicated receiving area.
  • Handle and move inventory.
  • Communicate with supervisors, peers, subordinates, vendors and other dealers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
