About The Position

The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a full-time Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team! This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position involves repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required. Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
Prior experience with UPS, FedEx, customer portals, and international paperwork is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement the Order Fulfillment Process steps related to the preparation of shipments and related documentation to ensure the complete satisfaction of the customer’s requirements.
Knowledge of various items in stock; ability to select appropriate type and size of container; using appropriate packing material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing containers; applying labels or entering identifying data on container.
Manage order shipments using FedEx, UPS, and customer-specific portals.
Prepare product for shipment to the customer by inspecting, labeling and packaging product according to standard procedures.
Confirm correct quantity/counts against work order or packing slip.
Load and unload trucks.
Other duties as assigned.
