Shipping and Receiving Associate
About The Position
Our client is a leading manufacturer committed to producing high-quality products in a safe, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. This role involves stocking and delivering raw materials to production lines, cleaning and stocking various containers, and working around nicotine powder and associated odors. The position requires coordination with team members for efficient material delivery and assisting with forklift operations. Adherence to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment are essential. This is an ongoing order for a 2nd Shift position, Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM, with the possibility of some weekend work.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, shipping & receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an environment with strong odors.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Stock and deliver raw materials to production lines while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
- Clean and stock cans, lids, and nicotine powder hoppers.
- Work around nicotine powder and strong odors that vary depending on product flavor.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure materials are delivered efficiently to production.
- Assist with forklift operations at shipping and receiving docks.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Able to work some weekends.
