About The Position

As a Shipper, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring customer orders and transfers are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time. In this role, you'll work closely with our Traffic Department and cross-functional teams to coordinate shipments, manage transportation logistics, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. As a key point of contact for customers and drivers, you'll represent IPEX with professionalism while helping maintain our high standards of service and quality.

Requirements

College diploma or degree, and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar shipping, logistics, or transportation role
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Responsibilities

Coordinate and assign orders as they are released, considering delivery timelines and destination requirements
Maintain picking sequences based on order priority and warehouse zoning to support efficient operations
Manage and prioritize urgent shipments and customer pick-ups
Utilize our Transportation Management System (TMS) to select the most effective carrier solutions
Dispatch orders and transfers in accordance with IPEX service and quality standards.
Monitor and track shipments through phone and online systems
Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on orders and deliveries
Serve as the primary contact for drivers and customer pick-ups at the shipping desk
Prepare and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) accurately and efficiently, ensuring all documentation is complete
Maintain organized and compliant records and filing systems, including BOLs, Sales Orders, RMAs, and other transportation documents in accordance with C-TPAT requirements
