About The Position

This is an entry-level Shipping and Receiving role responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments in a safe and quality-focused manner. The role requires the safe operation of material handling equipment such as hand trucks, fork trucks, and other related equipment. It also requires the entry and verification of transactions for all materials handled. Requirements

0-1 year of work experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must pass a DOT Physical.
Pass a visual acuity test.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing team environment.
Basic knowledge of EHS, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
Basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Reliable and self-motivated.
Ability to read, follow and understand operating procedures and documentation.
Chemical handling experience.
Experience with multitasking operations.

Responsibilities

Perform basic shipping and receiving duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Quality and EHS Specifications and GMP standards.
Place items in the warehouse by packing/unpacking and transporting using forklifts and pallet jacks as required.
Scan, label, and count materials.
Ensure adherence to environmental management systems.
Verify accuracy of orders and complete transactions and documentation per GMP standards.
Ensure a clean and orderly workspace.
Proactively identify safety, quality, and productivity concerns.
Actively report hazardous conditions or hazardous behaviors observed in the work area and the site.
Participate in sustainability efforts.
Communicate and participate in shift changeovers with colleagues and lead.
Escalate issues to the next level (operations, lead, supervisor, etc.).
Works under close supervision.
