About The Position

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipper Receiver is responsible for proper receiving and placement of goods and materials into designated receiving areas.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year previous related experience is preferred
Self-motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills
Detail oriented and a strong work ethic
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Work with minimum of supervision
Forklift experience is an asset
Training frequency: on-going/as needed

Responsibilities

Unload and visually inspect all incoming goods, products and corresponding documentation
Print receiving tickets, fill in all necessary parameters, sign and proceed to receive into ERP system
Put away incoming material as per receiving instructions, Quality Control Procedures, and other requirements in a timely manner
Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles and trailers as required
Assist coordinators/pickers when required
Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages, product discrepancies, paperwork discrepancies or delivery delays
Ensure proper and timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, purchase orders, packing slips, receiving tickets, receipt registers, MTR’s, and related documents
Keeping both product and storage areas clearly labeled
Other duties assigned by Supervisor
