About The Position

As a Shipper/Receiver, the individual will be required to check, pick, receive, ship, stock and organize automotive parts. They will also help maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store. They will be required to answer internal and external telephone calls and complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner. Effective use of resources, such as the company database and parts catalogue, will be required. Canusa Automotive Warehousing Inc. Requirements

  • Shipping/Receiving experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)

Responsibilities

  • Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking, and organizing)
  • Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
  • Help control inventory and ensure product availability
  • Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
  • Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations, and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize, mop, take out garbage and recycling)
  • When required, answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team
