Requirements

  • Must be able to use time wisely
  • Must be able to communicate well both written and verbal.
  • Must be safe in all aspects of duties
  • Must be a team player.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of forklift operations.
  • At least a valid Class C drivers license
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years’ experience in field a plus.
  • Computer knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload product using a fork truck into various types of trucks and trailers.
  • Fill out paperwork, check in or out shipments.
  • Perform inventory on a monthly basis.
  • Calculate and pull case goods lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • Perform forklift inspections daily.
  • Work in a safe manner.
  • Complete any other duties assigned by management and or team leaders.
  • Know how to read the bill of ladings and load logs.
  • Load the proper product.
  • Fill all of the paperwork out correctly (this includes matching purchase orders, receiving’s, and placing these papers in the proper boxes).
  • Place all safety devices (wheel chocks, safety chains, loading plates etc.) on the trailers that they are working on.
  • Break full pallets of product down to make partial pallets for special loads.
  • Maintain a professional work attitude with the truck drivers that come in the facility and with the office personnel.
  • Keep yard clean and organized.
  • Drive safely at all times.
