About The Position

Avery Dennison is seeking a detail-oriented, safety-minded Shipper Associate to work in a fast-paced logistics environment at its Greenfield, Indiana facility. The role supports accurate, timely shipments by preparing and staging finished goods and materials, operating material-handling equipment, and verifying inventory and shipping records. The position is onsite and offers a 12-hour schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation, with weekly pay and a starting rate of $22.07 per hour. Benefits begin on the first day of employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
Ability to stand or walk for up to 80% of the shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for 50% of the shift.
Comfort working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Dependability, punctuality, and a consistent attendance record.
Ability to adapt when freight schedules or shipping priorities change.
Safety-minded approach to warehouse operations and industrial transport equipment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, package, stage, and load finished goods and materials for outgoing shipments according to customer specifications and schedules.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory equipment to move finished products and raw materials throughout the warehouse.
Perform inventory counts and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and manifest data.
Maintain accurate, zero-defect shipments.
Follow safety practices in warehouse and loading dock areas.
Collaborate with production and freight teams to meet site goals.
