About The Position
Roofmart, Canada’s National distributor for Exterior Building Supply for Roofing, Siding, Metal and Building Envelope, is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Shipper and Receiver to join their team. With over 50 Roofmart locations across Canada, this role is responsible for the safe loading, unloading, movement, shipping, and receiving of products. The position ensures order accuracy through correct picking, tagging, and verification, maintains compliance with all health and safety regulations, and supports additional operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- Valid Forklift License (training can be provided)
- Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs
- Previous Shipping and Receiving Experience
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Authorized to work in Canada
Nice To Haves
- Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience
Responsibilities
- Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving product
- Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged, and double checked
- Assisting as required with tapered insulation fabrication
- Assisting as required with metal shop operations
- Complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
- Other duties as required
