About The Position

CACI is seeking a Ship's Liaison and Training Analyst to provide Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive (DPAE) Aircraft Carriers (DPAE CVN) Support in areas of ship’s liaison, training, and personnel support. This role involves supporting programmatic, strategic, and training support efforts as directed by the DPAE CVN Product Support Team (PST) in all aspects of shipboard supply support. The analyst will act as a Shipboard Liaison providing Pre-Commissioning (PCU) and Active Platforms Training and Personnel Support. Responsibilities include generating correspondence, technical plans, instructions, and directives necessary for effective communication among all participating activities and stakeholders. The role also requires coordinating efforts with government and other contracted support personnel across various Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Department of War (DoW)/Department of the Navy (DoN) organizations, primarily in the Hampton Roads, VA area.

Requirements

  • Active Duty Navy/Aircraft Carrier Experience
  • Shipyard Experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Familiarization with standard Navy correspondence
  • University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of related work

Responsibilities

  • As shipboard Liaison, identify and document specific system training deficiencies in the associated NTSP (e.g. Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) scorecard).
  • Provide Quality Assurance content reviews of the Navy Training Systems Plan (NTSP); Front End Analysis (FEA), (Phase I); Joint Duty Task Analysis (JDTA), (Phase I); Curriculum Content (Phase II) as they pertain to CVN 68 and 78 Class units.
  • Provide DPAE TRIAD backup to ensure the PCU crews receive all CFE Training (Initial/Interim) courses at the most ready and relevant times.
  • Review, comment, and provide input for draft DoD, Navy, and DPAE CVN policies, directives, and instructions.
  • Communicate to Ship's Force (SF) Leadership the importance of recognizing deficient training requirements and provide training solutions.
  • Capture and relay Training issues and concerns to the government’s Training Lead for immediate resolution.
  • Liaison as necessary with commands / organizations / representatives / etc. in support of Program Office objectives as the Training representative for APM Life Cycle Support.
  • Conduct local travel to the Shipyards in support of PST objectives as the Training representative.
