About The Position

The Ship Cost Estimator (SCE) – Low Senior is a Non-Key Personnel position supporting Team Blackwatchs NAVSEA PMS 470 (BBGN) Professional Support Services – N0016426R3120 contract, aligned to Task 5 – Integrated Performance Analysis, cost estimating (SOW 4.5.3). This position is based in DC Metro Area and requires an active SECRET security clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Math, Economics, Engineering, or Naval Architecture
• Minimum Relevant Experience: >10 years
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Relevant Experience: 15 years
• Preferred Specialized Experience: 15 years relevant professional experience

Responsibilities

• Provides cost related analysis and assessments of ships, submarines, and related ship systems.
• Provides technical expertise, performs parametric tradeoff studies, and assesses cost estimates.
• Is proficient with using modern computational tools and spreadsheets to conduct cost assessments.
• Develops program life cycle cost estimates and performs concepts and technology tradeoff studies for surface ship and submarine programs.
