About The Position
The Ship Cost Estimator (SCE) – Junior is a Non-Key Personnel position supporting Team Blackwatchs NAVSEA PMS 470 (BBGN) Professional Support Services – N0016426R3120 contract, aligned to Task 5 – Integrated Performance Analysis, cost estimating (SOW 4.5.3). This position is based in DC Metro Area and requires an active SECRET/CONFIDENTIAL security clearance.
Requirements
- Minimum Relevant Experience: >1 years
- Active SECRET/CONFIDENTIAL security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred Relevant Experience: 4 years
- Preferred Specialized Experience: 1-year relevant professional experience
Responsibilities
- Provides cost related analysis and assessments of ships, submarines, and related ship systems.
- Provides technical expertise, performs parametric tradeoff studies, and assesses cost estimates.
- Is proficient with using modern computational tools and spreadsheets to conduct cost assessments.
- Develops program life cycle cost estimates and performs concepts and technology tradeoff studies for surface ship and submarine programs.
