About The Position
Under general supervision, this role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team. The position requires performing quality work in a fast-paced and consistent manner.
Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically.
- Must understand safety procedures.
- Must have good teamwork skills.
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired but not required.
Responsibilities
- Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
- Keeps area neat and clean.
- Read and use a tape measure.
- Read blue prints and orders.
- Communicate well with coworkers.
- Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
