About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth operations, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure store operations run smoothly when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
