About The Position

The Overnight Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance and building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, keeps store operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

The role oversees overnight crew activities, communicates with store management and staff, assists customers, handles customer relations issues according to company policy, and maintains customer and patient confidentiality. It also involves pricing and stocking merchandise, setting and maintaining displays, handling weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise inventory, and resetting departments according to planograms.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service through greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Set up and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments according to planograms.
• Ensure store operations run smoothly and complete opening and closing procedures when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
