About The Position

Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Shift Supervisor assists the management team in achieving revenue, expense, and profit objectives. This role involves training staff to meet production goals, merchandise standards, customer service expectations, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate possesses business acumen, interpersonal skills, and leadership to meet store performance standards. Working long hours, weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required.

Requirements

High school diploma or the equivalent.
Ability to learn how to correctly use all point of sale and donation systems, office computer and telephone.
Skills to work in stressful conditions and use good judgment, patience, and understanding.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Familiarity with business-related mathematics.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist, lift, push, pull and move items up to 40 pounds.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
May have to occasionally work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.

Nice To Haves

One year of retail sales experience preferred.
