This role involves overseeing hourly employees, resolving conflicts, ensuring adherence to company guidelines, and maintaining a safe working environment. The supervisor will accomplish manufacturing goals by communicating expectations, planning, and monitoring job results. They will also ensure equipment is operational by reporting repair needs, maintaining technical knowledge, and gauging parts to verify specifications. Additionally, the role requires documenting production issues, managing stock inventory, and maintaining a clean work area. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including on-call availability, and the ability to work independently and interact skillfully with various stakeholders. Essential physical requirements include the ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds, standing, repetitive movement, walking, and using hands to handle tools. Occasional requirements include sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Specific vision abilities such as close, distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment are necessary.
