About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance and building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth store operations, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures. The role includes supervising and coordinating crew activities, addressing customer needs and relations issues, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and carrying out merchandising and presentation tasks.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute displays and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth operations when a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
