About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in store execution and performance and builds consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth store operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.

The role includes supervising crew activities, communicating with store management and staff, assisting customers and addressing customer relations issues in line with company policy, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and carrying out merchandise pricing, stocking, displays, inventory, and department resets.

This is a part-time position with 16 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $17.00–$26.00 per hour. The role may involve early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and responding to urgent store issues.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signs, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments according to POGs.
• Lead store staff and help ensure smooth operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
