About The Position

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth operations, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

The role includes supervising and coordinating store crew activities; communicating with store management and colleagues; assisting customers and resolving customer relations issues in accordance with company policy; maintaining customer and patient confidentiality; and supporting merchandise presentation through pricing, stocking, promotional and seasonal displays, inventory, off-shelf merchandise, and department resets following planograms.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms.
• Lead store staff and help ensure smooth store operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
