Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of up to 13 employees on the production floor Act as a working supervisor, supporting operations while leading the team Monitor and ensure proper operation of heat treat furnaces and related equipment Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and light maintenance Coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and output goals Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures Identify and escalate maintenance or process issues as needed Train, coach, and support team members to drive performance and accountability Qualifications: Heat treating experience preferred (furnaces, thermal processing, etc.) Prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform light maintenance and troubleshooting Experience working in a hands-on / working supervisor capacity Ability to read and understand basic technical or process documentation Comfortable training on day shift for ~60 days before moving to off-shift Preferred Experience: Experience with preventative maintenance or maintenance support roles Background in automotive or high-volume manufacturing Familiarity with continuous improvement, safety programs, or 5S
