About The Position
As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead each shift with craft and care, helping create a warm and welcoming coffeehouse where customers feel connected to their community. You will prepare and coach the preparation of beverages and food to standard recipes or according to customer requests, and help ensure store operating policies and standards are met. Requirements
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be available to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverage and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Have at least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
- Have at least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating tasks for two or more employees.
- Be able to prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredient substitutions.
- Be able to direct the work of others and learn quickly.
- Have effective oral communication skills, knowledge of the retail environment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and build relationships.
