About The Position

Responsible for leading and coordinating security personnel during an assigned shift to ensure the safety and protection of people, property, and assets. The role involves supervising staff, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents and emergencies, and enforcing company policies and procedures. The supervisor also prepares reports, manages shift coverage, and serves as the primary point of contact for security operations during their shift. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to maintain a secure and efficient environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must have supervisor experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security officers during assigned shifts.
• Assign posts and ensure proper coverage of all areas
• Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, access control).
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain safety and security
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.
• Prepare and submit incident and daily activity reports
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Train and guide security staff on duties and protocols
• Handle employee or visitor issues, conflicts, and disturbances
• Communicate with management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report issues
• Perform shift handovers and brief incoming supervisors.
