About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in store execution and performance and helps build customer loyalty through excellent service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

This role supervises store crew activities, communicates with store management and employees, assists customers, handles customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, and protects customer and patient confidentiality. The position also supports merchandise presentation through pricing and stocking products, managing displays and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise, maintaining off-shelf merchandise, and resetting departments according to planograms.

This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20. The typical pay range is $16.50–$24.00 per hour. Actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute displays and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Ensure completion of all opening and closing procedures.
