About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in store execution and performance and helps build customer loyalty through excellent service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps store operations running smoothly, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed. The position is part-time, with 29 anticipated weekly hours, and requires schedule flexibility, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, as well as overtime when needed and responding to urgent store issues.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations when a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
