About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth store operations, and is responsible for completing opening and closing procedures.

The role includes supervising and coordinating store crew activities; communicating between store management and crews; assisting customers and handling customer relations issues in accordance with company policy; maintaining customer and patient confidentiality; and supporting merchandise pricing, stocking, displays, inventory, and department resets.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
