About The Position

Responsible for workshop KPI performance indicators, mainly responsible for the management and supervision of workshop personnel, production, labor discipline and quality, deploy workshop production tasks, control product cost, and effectively improve product quality and output.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
  • 1 year manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
  • Visual acuity including, but not limited to: NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.
  • Familiar with tempering technology, equipment and quality requirements;
  • Competent in solving difficult problems in production;
  • Familiar with production cost management and control methods;
  • Familiar with IATF 16949 ISO14001 and ISO 45001 management systems;
  • Familiar with production management knowledge and ability;
  • Competent in leading, communication, coordination and organizational skills;
  • Skilled in coaching technology, enhancing and training subordinates;
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ADP management of the team members, review and approve the leave requests of the workshop employees, maintain the factory Manpower personnel management table, implement the company management system, and maintain the production discipline.
  • Responsible for the management and control of the production cost of the team, lead the team to achieve the KPI performance indicators of the workshop, control the production overtime hours and materials between the buses, actively participate in the company's CIP continuous improvement activities, and meet the company's requirements.
  • Responsible for organizing the production of the team, coordinating resources, executing production according to the production plan order, and completing production delivery with high quality and quantity.
  • Responsible for the quality management of the team's production line, implement the management of self-process completion and change points, and supervise and control the production quality of the shift.
  • Responsible for giving feedback and reporting when indicators are abnormal in production and assisting the main workshop director to formulate improvement measures and track performance.
  • Responsible for reviewing the authenticity of production reports and records of the team and the compliance of inventory and accounts.
  • Responsible for formulating and organizing on-the-job training and job-transfer training, multi-post development plans for team employees, and tracking the implementation results.
  • Responsible for the monitoring application, daily use, maintenance and storage of production line equipment and tooling tools.
  • Responsible for the five-star team construction of the team, and lead the team to pass the company-level star certification.
  • Responsible for promoting the TPM activities of the team and supervising the implementation of 5S in the workshop, maintaining a clean, efficient and safe working environment.
  • Actively understand and monitor all workshop environmental factors, risk factors, hazards and their control methods.
  • Familiar with and supervise workshop material safety data sheets.
  • Conscientiously implement the relevant documents of the integrated management system.
  • Obey and perform other work tasks arranged by the lead shift supervisor.
