About The Position
The Shift Supervisor Public Safety is responsible for the frontline supervision of all assigned security functions and Public Safety staff. This role coordinates all routine and emergency security activities as assigned by policy or management, enforces all PHC regulations and applicable state and federal laws, and advocates for crime prevention and a secure work environment through observation, interaction, and intervention. The Shift Supervisor is a first responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility and is responsible for supervising and developing junior officers.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- 4 years general security, military or other public safety experience Required
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer Preferred
- Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification Preferred
