About The Position

We are seeking a Shift Supervisor – Maintenance to lead maintenance operations within a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for shift execution, personnel leadership, safety compliance, tool performance oversight, and achieving production targets while maintaining world-class quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong maintenance knowledge with proven leadership capability in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • Strong understanding of: Problem solving and decision-making methodologies, Tool control strategies, including FDC and feed-back/feed-forward control, SPC and statistical analysis
  • Experience in high-volume 200mm or 300mm fab environments
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom and support the assigned shift schedule

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
  • Experience ramping new tools or processes
  • Familiarity with MES systems
  • Proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians during assigned shift
  • Work with operations to reach daily production targets including throughput, WIP management, and cycle time
  • Ensure smooth shift handoff communication
  • Respond to equipment excursions and coordinate with engineering and operations teams
  • Escalate issues appropriately to minimize downtime and yield impact
  • Monitor uptime metrics (availability, WIP load)
  • Support troubleshooting of tool problems in conjunction with operations and engineering
  • Ensure procedural compliance and process control adherence
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Partner with engineering on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Enforce cleanroom protocols and EHS standards
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and shift reporting discipline
  • Drive root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone) for excursions
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturing and quality systems
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Conduct performance discussions and provide feedback
  • Manage shift staffing, attendance, and scheduling
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
