About The Position

The Shift Supervisor Level 1 is responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and performing basic troubleshooting of car wash equipment. This role requires the ability to work independently with periodic supervision and to enforce safety policies. The position involves a significant amount of customer interaction and site upkeep, with a smaller percentage dedicated to opening/closing procedures and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Excellent communication skills including active listening.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.
Able to work weekends.
Minimum 6 months as CWA before advancement.
Understands the functions of all chemical room equipment.
Adheres to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (hearing, eye, foot, hand protection).

Nice To Haves

Customer service and some Car Wash experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
Greets customers, answers questions, and explains wash options.
Ensures customer satisfaction and reports inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
Completes all Car Wash Attendant job duties.
Troubleshoots basic XPT and DRB issues following the “DRB Protocol”.
Reads “Supervisor Level DRB” training course.
Attends Preventative Maintenance Training and completes 5 Day Preventative Maintenance.
Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.
Performs site upkeep, including cleaning and maintaining the site.
Completes opening/closing procedures.
Demonstrates responsibility while Site Manager is off site.
Enforces all safety policies.
Understands the functions of all chemical room equipment.
Assists Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs.
Cleans out solenoids.
