About The Position

The Shift Runner operates equipment; stocks and rotates ingredients from delivery to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone and internet orders; counts inventory; completes paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility. The role includes customer service and delivery-related skills. On-the-job training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers over the phone and in person.
• Ability to safely drive one's own vehicle and navigate roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing ladders or stairs, stooping or bending, crouching or squatting, reaching, and grasping to use machines, tools, equipment, and work aids.
• Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and conditions inside and outside.
