Requirements

  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • Have 3 years of multi-craft experience in a manufacturing environment or a combination of relevant degrees and experience. A skill knowledge evaluation may be administered to help determine breadth of knowledge.
  • Must have specific experience troubleshooting advanced PLC control systems.
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership by example through personal integrity, working safely, maintaining attendance within policy, and implementing improvements.
  • Have basic computer skills using MS Office programs and K-C computer-based support systems.
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance with 5+ years of hands-on industrial multi-craft experience (mechanical and electrical) with significant troubleshooting experience and knowledge of Rockwell Automation PLC controls.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment problems, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance tasks to support Corinth Nonwovens Plant operations.
  • Maintain a work schedule of rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled. The shift technician group covers shifts for each other for scheduled time off.
  • Report to the Asset Team Leader or the Reliability and Engineering Team Leader and receive work directions from one or more Maintenance Planners.
  • Coordinate and communicate with a wide variety of customers (Team Leader, Maintenance Employees, Operating Crews, and Engineers.
  • Leverage strong multi-craft expertise with hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
