Join our team as a Shift Operations Manager! This is an off-shift position with flexible hours, covering early evening to early morning, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage required. The role involves leading all foundry operations on the third shift, ensuring adherence to production schedules, process parameters, and quality requirements. The Shift Operations Manager will maintain full accountability for shift performance, including safety, throughput, scrap, rework, labor utilization, and housekeeping. This position requires executing daily operational plans, adjusting resources in real time, and ensuring strict compliance with standard work, work instructions, and IATF/ISO requirements. A key aspect of the role is championing a zero-incident safety culture, enforcing all safety policies, and ensuring environmental controls and foundry-specific compliance requirements are met. The manager will also supervise, coach, and develop hourly team members, manage attendance and performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensuring all castings meet quality standards, partnering with Quality and Engineering to address defects, and maintaining accurate records are also critical functions. Clear communication and shift-to-shift handoffs are essential.
