About The Position

Cinnabon is seeking a reliable, motivated Shift Manager to help oversee daily bakery operations and ensure each shift runs smoothly. The Shift Manager leads by example, provides direction and coaching to team members, maintains operational and food-safety standards, and helps deliver friendly, professional guest service. The role supports a culture of accountability, excellence, and teamwork while contributing to bakery success and memorable guest experiences.

The position includes preparing, baking, and serving Cinnabon products; supporting shift execution and opening and closing procedures; handling registers and transactions; resolving guest concerns; and maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and an organized, stocked, food-safe environment. The Shift Manager also supports team training and development, follows company policies and brand standards, and demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

The role is based at Cinnabon in CherryVale Mall in Rockford, Illinois. The listed pay is $16.00 per hour. Availability must be flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. The position involves standing, bending, lifting, and remaining active during shifts, as well as working in warm and cold environments around ovens, prep areas, and walk-in coolers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Current Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Honesty, integrity, accountability, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow.
• TB clearance required if applicable by location.
• A successful background check may be required.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of food service, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Previous shift lead, keyholder, supervisory, or leadership experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and store technology systems.
