About The Position

The Shift Manager is responsible for providing leadership coverage and managing store operations in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director. Duties include receiving merchandise according to company policies and procedures, preparing product to go out to the floor for merchandising. This role is responsible for efficiently and effectively breaking down deliveries, stocking shelves, building displays with packaged products, and greeting guests on the sales floor and assisting them with finding items they are looking for. The Shift Manager also provides guidance and direction to team members throughout the store to ensure smooth operation throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership coverage and manage store operations in the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director.
  • Receive merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare product for merchandising on the sales floor.
  • Break down deliveries efficiently and effectively.
  • Stock shelves.
  • Build displays with packaged products.
  • Greet guests on the sales floor and assist them with finding items.
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members throughout the store to ensure smooth operation during their shift.
