About The Position

The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations at the site during their assigned shift. This role includes providing hands-on leadership, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards, managing shift planning, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent preferred
  • Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Two to four years of leadership experience
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload.
  • Professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex client situations in an effective manner.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify customer's needs and to deliver, decline, or adjust expectations.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and results driven

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily work activities of team members within the assigned area to ensure adherence to job-site objectives and performance expectations.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members using established training calendars, curriculums, and coaching practices to ensure strong performance and engagement.
  • Provide feedback on performance appraisals and disciplinary decisions and make recommendations for promotions within the team.
  • Oversee and inspect cleaning operations to ensure all areas meet quality standards, client expectations, and contractual obligations.
  • Use industry tools and company standards to conduct routine inspections and audits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client leadership; participate in weekly meetings and daily client briefings.
  • Leverage CSM tools and technology systems to review, monitor, and audit performance metrics.
  • Lead and monitor safety training to ensure staff compliance with OSHA, CDC, and company protocols, minimizing workplace hazards and promoting a safe environment.
  • Ensure lawful timekeeping practices are followed; reconcile time sheets daily across all timekeeping systems.
  • Communicate daily job-site goals and expectations using appropriate systems and tools.
  • Support continuous improvement by addressing issues and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
