About The Position

Jamba is hiring a Shift Manager to help bring its mission of making eating better, easier, and more fun to life. The Shift Manager is the heartbeat of the store and, when the General Manager or Assistant Manager is away, keeps operations running smoothly, motivates the team, and ensures guests have a positive experience. The role includes key-holder opportunities and responsibilities for opening and closing the store.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• TB clearance is required.
• Flexible availability, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Comfort working in cold environments, including a walk-in fridge or freezer.
• Basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft applications and POS systems.
• Ability to taste-test products for quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology.
• Food handler certification, either current or obtained within 30 days.

Nice To Haves

• 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred.
• 0–1 year of food service or retail experience.
• Cash handling and customer service experience.
• General knowledge of food service or nutrition terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and make decisions during the shift.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
• Motivate and support team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Troubleshoot team needs, guest concerns, and supplier issues.
• Determine when and how to escalate matters to store leadership.
