What You’ll Do As a Shift Manager, you’ll lead all plant operations during your assigned shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You’ll be responsible for resource allocation, execution of the production plan, and leadership of your team while coordinating closely with maintenance, quality, and support functions. In this role, you will: Lead shift operations and make real-time decisions to support production performance Allocate resources effectively and escalate needs when additional support is required Identify and resolve issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, including proper PPE and cleanroom standards Monitor environmental systems and ensure compliance with operational standards Drive execution of the production plan and adjust priorities as needed Oversee product quality and ensure timely resolution of quality issues Lead and develop production teams, including coaching, training, and performance management Ensure training programs are implemented and documentation is maintained Promote accountability and adherence to company policies and procedures Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, standard work, and daily audits Collaborate with supply chain and leadership to adjust schedules based on operational challenges Act as the primary point of contact for quality and operational issues during off-hours Serve as Incident Commander during emergencies on assigned shift

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and supervising teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a manager or supervisor in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
